- RBI released draft FEMA (Foreign Investment) Rules, 2026 to simplify and rationalise the regulatory framework governing foreign investment in India.
- IBBI extended the deadline for filing PGIRP Forms relating to insolvency resolution processes of personal guarantors to corporate debtors until September 30, 2026.
- MCA extended the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 providing additional time for pending statutory filings.
- MCA proposed the Integrated Platform for Insolvency Ecosystem (iPIE) to digitise insolvency processes and enable integrated information exchange among stakeholders.
- MCA revised MSME Form-1 filing requirements, limiting reporting to payments overdue by more than 45 days.
