  1. RBI released draft FEMA (Foreign Investment) Rules, 2026 to simplify and rationalise the regulatory framework governing foreign investment in India.
  2. IBBI extended the deadline for filing PGIRP Forms relating to insolvency resolution processes of personal guarantors to corporate debtors until September 30, 2026.
  3. MCA extended the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 providing additional time for pending statutory filings.
  4. MCA proposed the Integrated Platform for Insolvency Ecosystem (iPIE) to digitise insolvency processes and enable integrated information exchange among stakeholders.
  5. MCA revised MSME Form-1 filing requirements, limiting reporting to payments overdue by more than 45 days.
  6. MSME Ministry mandated central public sector enterprises to settle invoices raised by MSMEs through the Trade Receivables Discounting System (TReDS).
  7. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare introduced graded penalties under the Clinical Establishments Act, replacing criminal fines for specified non-compliances.
  8. EPFO launched Vishwas 2026, a one-time scheme facilitating settlement of disputes concerning damages and penalties arising from delayed provident fund contributions.
  9. DGFT amended the foreign trade policy to prohibit the import of goods produced or manufactured using forced labour.
  10. DPIIT permitted foreign invested e-commerce entities to use the inventory based model exclusively for exports of Indian goods.
  11. Supreme Court held that a contractual clause denying interest on a security deposit is not contrary to public policy and cannot be rewritten by courts.
  12. Supreme Court ruled that mere settlement negotiations cannot defer admission of CIRP once the existence of debt and default has been established.
