  1. MSME Development (Amendment) Act, 2026 mandating the use of TReDS by Central Public Sector Enterprises received Presidential assent.
  2. Tribunals Reforms Bill, 2026 aiming to reform the tribunal system to make it more efficient, independent and transparent passed by the Parliament.
  3. Ministry of Labour and Employment clarified that offences punishable with imprisonment under the Code on Wages cannot be compounded.
  4. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare amended medical device labelling, sterilisation site and testing fee requirements.
  5. MCA notified amendments to Companies (Indian Accounting Standards) Rules governing financial instruments, disclosures and green power contracts.
  6. MCA issued FAQs clarifying subsidiary status, form filing and documentation requirements for foreign companies.
  7. SEBI proposed a fast-track settlement mechanism and revised methodology for calculating settlement amounts.
  8. RBI strengthened norms on loan recovery practices and engagement of recovery agents to protect borrowers.
  9. IRDAI directed life, general and health insurers to submit monthly premium, claims and investment-income data for preparation of the Index of Service Production.
  10. IBBI proposed a framework requiring insolvency professionals to identify and report suspected misuse of CIRP to the NCLT.
  11. EPFO launched a one-time campaign enabling employers to enrol eligible employees previously excluded from provident fund coverage.
  12. Supreme Court held that unadjudicated claims for interest and damages on provident fund dues may be excluded from an IBC resolution plan.
